Arnold will not be a Republican for long. One of the drawbacks of having to pander to the American Taliban (evangelical, south baptists and their ilk), is that sooner or later Bush has to deliver. If they stay their course, in a decade or so the Republicans may be reduced to what the Conservative party is in the UK right now - an unelectable joke of a party. Or maybe not.
