Wouldn't that be 499 nutcases to 1?

the authorization to use force in Iraq had I think 133 House members voting against.
I think you are thinking about the joint resolution supporting the use of force against those responsible for the 9-11 attacks and invading afghanistan.
McKinney voted with everyone else except one Congresswomen Barbara Lee from Oakland California who voted no. She probably is one of the most liberal representatives in Congress.

I am not surprised that she is in a close race (though a runoff for a primary is strange to me) . She already lost once in the primary so it is no surprise she is trying to rally her supporters to avoid being knocked off again.

Thank you, you are right. I had doubts about it being McKinney because I thought that person lost the next election but couldn't place the right name.

Way to compare apples and oranges, Duke is an outright crook who accepted millions in bribes and wasn't very clever in trying to hide it.

It's a sad story, i remember just a few weeks before he was outed I saw a program on some of the top dogfights in the history of aviation and Duke was involved in one if Vietnam, where he shot down the top North Vietnamese ace, got hit by a sam, then flew upside down towards the coast and was able to eject in the sea saving himself and his co-pilot from being POW's.

One hell of a pilot and a genuine hero who turned into a crook.
