I love it how people can't read.
I charge $20 labor right. When I ship something out it costs me $4.55 at the least, because I ship with priority mail & delivery confirmation. Depending on where it's going it can cost up to $5.80.
So now I'm down to only $15 profit. Next, I guess no one comprehends that for most people I charge them the same amount it costs me to get the part. Hell I even give them a link to the auction where I'm trying to get their part, the cheapest I can off of ebay (of course I only shop w/reputiable retailers who I know sell good parts). So there goes some more of my time trying to help out.
Finally, I give a lot of advice regarding iPods in general. People have asked me questions and whatnot that I've answered free of charge. In fact from this particular topic, no one has given me ANY BUSINESS YET. I haven't made one deal. The only thing that has come out of this topic is me spending money because another member has some ipod mini parts that I'm going to verify work and then send the payment. So if anything I'm helping out other people.
Please people, get your heads out of whatever they're stuck in. I'm here helping, so far I haven't made a dime. I'm just getting my name out there so that if and when people do have a problem, they have someone to take care of it, rather than going to the big guys who charge an arm and a leg.
