then buy the vette ;)
Never had one, I got harassed by Camaro owners every time I was out in it. No foot shaped gas pedal, no mullet and no Marlboro's in my sleeve.....
zomg Gilbot is going pony!
Thought about it, afraid of the transmission issues.
Or...the two small kids would have easily fit in that guys truck, he wouldn't have needed to bring the trailer. ;)

I would have asked if you were ok for buying it in the first place. :p

Go to hell LOL!

OP: I feel for ya. Still think about my 94 Z28 that I sold years back. Those cars were fun as hell. But given your situation, you did the right thing.

Get a Charger with SRT8 / Hemi. Seats the kids, wife, goes like a bat out of hell (when the kids are not in the car please :)))))

Yeah, something bigger yet still fun is on my list. i just have no idea what I want. It seems like all the deals were around when I was trying to sell it, then I decided to keep it and it sold.

Now I'm free to buy and I can't find anything! I'm in no hurry though so i'll find something sooner or later.

Could you narrow it down for us a little? What were you considering when all the deals were around?

Pretty much the only thing I found was a CTS-v. I'm not a big fan of the styling on the BMW M series, but I think I need to see one in person before I pass final judgement.

A Jeep SRT8 wouldn't be bad, but holy hell the pricetags i've seen I'd have to pass there.

I'm open to pretty much anything 4 door and "fun" though. I'll admit that i've also been considering something 2 door and stupid too, such as a Lotus Elise or Porsche Cayman.

I'd love to know what a Cayman is though, I must have been under a rock because I'd never heard of one before. My Google-Fu tells me it's seated between a 911 and a Boxster yet others say it's basically a Boxster with a roof.

Test drive a E46 manual M3 and a Cayman S. Between the two it usually comes down to personal preference. I am one of those that wants both lol

The cayman S is one of the most balanced and easy to drive fast cars you can buy. the steering feel and feedback from the suspension is close to elise like without the harshness and brutality. Some larger guys feel cramped in the Cayman however.

When I started looking for a cayman a couple of years ago I settled on a beat up boxster because of how cheap it was. Once cleaned up it was awesome. If you want a drop top dont discount the boxster because its really close to the cayman though not as focused and a tad less nimble in the old gen.

The M3 sadly gets a bad rap from some its their owners. Few cars make you feel as giddy and childlike like a manual M3. The all have been instant classics. A M3 feels a little more like a muscle car in its power delivery compared to the cayman.

If you ever get the opportunity drive the older M3s as well. The euro e30 M3 is on another level when it comes to driving experience. One can get close to it with a few K in parts too.

Well the TBSS is cheaper than a Jeep SRT8 ;)

Not made anymore either, so the only option really is used.

I was really digging the Cayman S, but reviews say they are tough to "fit in". Now i'm leaning towards a C6 since they seem to be flooding the market due to the C7 announcement. Guess it's a good time to be looking, though that throws the whole family friendly aspect right out the window......

I really wanted a CTS-V but I can't swallow the pricing on them, used or new. Not really seeing much else in that segment that catches my eye.
