Yes, I bought it new and it was my baby.... under 15k miles after 10 years.

It brought loads of smiles to my face.....

But there comes a time when you must let go. And when a guy shows up with a trailer and cash... What do you do? You load her up, smell the cash and start looking for the next toy! :awe::biggrin::twisted:

I'm not gonna lie and say i'm not sad, but sometimes you just have to let go. The car was just sitting and with 2 small kids, It's tough to enjoy it. I'll get something better/different down the road.

Got rid of my '99 Z28 last year. Wasn't sad to see it go. It lives on with someone who will pay more attention to it. Two fast cars is enough for me.

this!

when you were young what was your favorite car?
No, but when they announced the demise of the Camaro in '01 I decided I wanted a 35th '02 CE. When I saw the prices on the CE models I laughed.... HARD. Then I went on a search for a white hardtop 6 speed SS and somehow settled on this orange t-top auto Z28. It was a great car and great fun but it was never exactly what I wanted so I just outgrew it.

That is exactly what makes it all ok for me. I was ignoring it and the new owner is already enjoying it. That makes me feel better. The car was meant to be driven, not sit in a garage. Now I can get something with a bit more room and take the kids, or just get something for ME. I haven't decided which direction i'm going yet. Hell, something else completely different may come along while I'm out and it may end up coming home. We'll see!

Like they say, take care of you tools properly!

Misuse one and you can easily get hurt.

Also, Female Distractions 502 (Grad course - sign up when both s female and car exist in your life at the same tome

Or...the two small kids would have easily fit in that guys truck, he wouldn't have needed to bring the trailer. 😉
