If an ambulance hits someone on the way back to the ER...

Depends on the condition of the person they are currently transporting. If it is the town drunk going to the ER to sleep it off in a warm waiting room, then absolutely. If my patient is coding, then no fcking way...

Let me be more specific then.

If they dont get the person in the ambulance back to the ER asap, he/she will more than likely die.

But the nailed the guy they hit so bad, that if they dont stop, he/she more that likely wont survive till the next ambulance gets there.

Do they stop?

the current patient is the priority of the ambulance crew. They would at the very least call it into dispatch.
