If all jobs were made obsolete by robots

There once was a game called Jedi Knight DF2. In that game, the cheat protection was extremely weak (think on the order of being able to change all game scripts as you like).

I think life would be somewhat like that game ended up being. People screwing around with every aspect of things that they could get away with ultimately making things look ugly. (until the robot comes along and cleans everything up).

Nearly everyone would be completely miserable, especially if there were literally zero jobs available.

Jobs are a necessity, not a pasttime. I would be infinitely happier if I didn't have to work.

that would be true for about two weeks, but you'd get bored eventually, then what would you do?

I think people would leave Earth in droves, if nothing else just to do something new.

Is there an insatiable fellatio robot?

Does she do ass to mouth?

I saw no specification of said robot's gender by nakedfrog.

That is..unsettling.

Do robots have genders?

Don't hold it's hand! Don't want people thinking you are a robo-sexual.

Says you. There's plenty of games I haven't played, books I haven't read, movies I haven't seen, cars I haven't driven or worked on, albums I haven't heard, etc, etc. Plenty of things to see, learn, and do.

Places to go, people to do?

Anyone who isn't preparing for a robot uprising is a fool. A robot invasion would be 100 times worse than a zombie invasion. Simple munitions would have no effect

The question posed by the OP is a paradox. You cannot make all jobs obsolete. Because the presidency is a job as is any leadership position that governs our world. So if those jobs are also taken by robots, you would have to concede then that the robots did take over the world.

I wish it isn't hypothetical, High school life is killing me, added to that the amount of time I have already wasted.

Right now, I wanna commit suicide or something like that. So much to study and so little time !!!!

Live my life-long dream as a professional blunt roller.

I'd hire you, but money no longer exists. 🙁

For you friend, I'd do it for free.

Good thing for you that there are only time warps & not quote warps. I would have found it incredibly hilarious if what you quoted was changed to the post just before yours.

Also, re: thread summary - infinite time
First, it's the .999... threads where people show they can't comprehend infinity. Now it's spreading to other threads.

Infinity is spreading? :Q

This isn't a new concept, it's called financially secure retirement. I'd tour the world, find some Russians or Chinese to replacement my skeletal/muscular system with something synthetic, begin a life of crime, and then eventually go die in Florida like everyone else.

Money is obsolete, as in we can pretty much have whatever we want? Food is free, so there's no need to worry about humanitarian aid?

Get a huge (2000+ acre) piece of property in Northern California. Design my perfect house, handpick all the materials, and get the robots to build it for me. Design the outbuildings (barn, shop, etc.) and pasture space and get the robots to build that. Plant my own gardens, orchards and vineyards. Get animals (goats, donkeys, rabbits, chickens, bees, etc.) and set up a more or less "working ranch".

Sign up for college classes that have always interested me, from science to art. Set up or get involved with a program for mentoring teenagers. With nothing pressing to do there would be a lot of up and coming kids who would need help finding purpose in life. Help them get connected back to the roots of human experience through shared work, food, friends and everything that comes with it.

I be doing the same thing I am now, feeding people. Even if machines were capable of creating decent food, there would still be a demand for hospitality, creative food and, the human touch. In fact, the demand for these might be higher than ever.
