If Al Sharpton was ever elected NYC mayor, the NYPD would quit in droves

I guess the cops didn’t know Abner Louisa wasn’t black either while shoving a plunger up his ass.

Republicans don’t even think slavery or Jim Crow laws were racist.

Remember the benefits of being enslaved as told by Republicans.
Louima, that was a racial crime.

Diallo, they feel was an accident...they saw a gun in their eyes. They were part of some "Street Crime Unit...We Own the Night" that Giuliani, Bill Bratton and Howard Safir put in place...

Because GOP policies are garbage. It isn’t a difficult concept for most to grasp but it does seem to sail right over your head.
If GOP policies are garbage, why are police, firefighters, people in Utah, Idaho, etc. voting for them?

I am still seeking that mythological National Anthem that doesn’t have racism in third stanza
The hireling and the slave? The lyrics were referring to English mercenaries and conscripts in the War of 1812. English conscription of American sailors was a main cause of the war.

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat I am an Independent.....I lean left on some issues, but I feel the SJW social stuff has cost Dems a chance at being the PRI of America.
SJW social stuff = Actual fucking freedom for people to be themselves and have some modicum of respect in society. Anyone who is "triggered" by social justice is a shit human who needs to examine their belief systems.

I guess we can now conclude where you land.

Let's see:
  • Creates thread complaining about Al Sharpton
  • Loves police brutality, and the police in general
  • Complains about "SJW social stuff" using right-wing language
  • Brags about how good infamous right-wing politicians were
  • Talks about race relations in a right-wing way
  • Etc...

Guys, I'm "independent". LOL

I know it's fun for a cat to "play" with its prey, but when do we call for the banstick?

It's slightly depressing that he thought that no one would notice!

I don't support police brutality, but a slight majority of white and Latino Americans do, they feel it is justifiable use of force.....that is what a lot of cops, Republicans, moderates, etc. believe.

I'm no fan of Al Sharpton, but police reform to stop police brutality is one of his major messages. So you basically admit there are cases where we should not give undying support to police actions. Which is one of the things Al Sharpton was fighting for.

And the second part of your message is exactly why people distrust the police, and Republicans. It's surprisingly simple. When you act like a douchebag, people treat you like a douchebag.

And no response on the racism question. So I guess you're OK with suppressing minorities.

Black America may not be a monolith, but it seems that way. Black Americans vote Democratic 90-10 every year, hell, a Black Republican can't even make inroads in the Black community without being called Uncle Tom, etc.

So, there's that.

Maybe if Republicans stops writing Jim Crow laws and suppressing minorities, things may change.

If GOP policies are garbage, why are police, firefighters, people in Utah, Idaho, etc. voting for them?

The FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) and associated unions spend 61% of their contributions to Democrats.

It's quite simple. The FOP will support whichever candidate they think helps their union members the most. It's not so much about which party as it is about what the values of each candidate are. I'm OK with that. And sometimes you get it right, and sometimes you get it wrong, as is the case with Trump. That was a major mistake.

Here is one article on FOP contributions to political candidates. Pretty split down the middle, though it does lean Democratic. If we look at year by year statistics, the FOP leans Democratic, with some years giving zero dollars to Republicans.

I am not okay with suppressing minorities or anyone. Who said that?

The FOP leaders are probably Independent voters that lean Democratic, but most rank and file cops are hardcore MAGA/Trump voters now because the Democrats went full Sharpton on policing.....which is not bad, but a lot of cops despise Sharpton, especially white cops in NYC and in NYS in general.

Had Sharpton been NYC mayor, they would have retired in droves, because they don't like his rhetoric. They feel he never gives them the benefit of the doubt or that he does not know what it is like to be a cop making a "split-second decision".

Bull shit cops would have retired in droves if Al Sharpton had won. Again, I'm no fan of Sharpton, but I guarantee the overwhelming majority would have remained. Yeah, they're going to quit a well paying job (though dangerous job) that allows them to power trip, because they disagree with which candidate won mayor of NYC. We NEED police reform.

Based on your original post bitching about a candidate that lost nearly 3 decades ago, you are for supporting the police even if they commit police brutality. Based on your other posts, you are racist and for the suppression of minorities. It took multiple people over multiple posts asking you to clarify your stance and you're being dodgy with your response. And you finally only answered that way because you finally got clued in on how shitty your stance is.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. If anyone wants to be a raging shit head racist, that is their right. But don't be surprised when most people don't share such views.
