No they don't, the GOP darkens his face in ads in suburban Long Island, and other suburbs to appeal to fear instincts...

The GOP don't want to meet with him, but they will use him in ads to get out their suburban vote...
Of course they ignore him. They do nothing about the central issue he is concerned about according to this thread.

You still haven't told us what you're on.

I'm confused by the point of this thread.

Is the point we should support police, even if they commit crimes? Or that it is wrong for black people to feel safe?
To a large percentage of white Americans and a slice of Latino Americans, yes.

Getty-what’s his name knows he’s cannot pass up a golden opportunity to hate bash a group he’s probably demonized many times before under different monikers and on a few discussion forums.

Getty, try to grasp the notion that Black America is not a political monolith.

So just for clarification, you're saying you support police brutality? Which is very very illegal.

And that you also support black people not being safe? Which is an opinion shared only by racist assholes.

Perhaps you might consider if every question has a rational answer.

Would this be a good time to bring up that hoe Betsy Ross and how she screwed up the flag?

What the... anyway, am I the only one that can't stand his voice? I listen to him speak and I want to change the channel. I think he could beat up Rudy in a fair fight though.

Newt lasted for 4 years, yes he was a factor but Sharpton had more impact....he was BLM before BLM....BLM changed politics forever
Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a country that treated black lives like others

Black America may not be a monolith, but it seems that way. Black Americans vote Democratic 90-10 every year, hell, a Black Republican can't even make inroads in the Black community without being called Uncle Tom, etc.

So, there's that.

Al Sharpton was the 1997 Democratic NYC mayoral runner up, getting 32% of the New York City Democratic vote in a primary, he lost though, but had he gone on to defeat Mayor Rudy Giuliani in the general election, the NYPD would have quit in droves. They would not want to serve under someone who was seen as anti-police and always angry at them....
OP, go back and read the case of Amadou Diallo and then tell us why he Soylent have been mad at
Police

Because GOP policies are garbage. It isn’t a difficult concept for most to grasp but it does seem to sail right over your head.

I don't support police brutality, but a slight majority of white and Latino Americans do, they feel it is justifiable use of force.....that is what a lot of cops, Republicans, moderates, etc. believe.

I know about the Diallo case, and a lot of cops, Republicans and moderate Independents that voted for Rudy, McCain, Bush, Trump feel it was a tragedy and not a racist incident. They feel the 4 cops did not know Diallo was black, they just saw a shadow or something, they thought he had a gun..

I guess the cops didn’t know Abner Louisa wasn’t black either while shoving a plunger up his ass.

Republicans don’t even think slavery or Jim Crow laws were racist.

Remember the benefits of being enslaved as told by Republicans.

He would have to perform well with white voters, a lot of white New Yorkers did not like Sharpton---for a liberal city, even white Democrats were wary of him
