I was talking to someone about his birds, which occasionally hold up a conversation. And we got to wondering about a scenario like this:
A telemarketer is on a speaker phone.
The bird says "yes" to an offer.
The telemarketer doesn't know it's a bird and not the owner of the house.

Did the owner just buy something?

Hey, I've been charged for telemarketing offers that my parents declined. How they not only got, but attached my CC number to my mom's name is beyond me. I ended up getting a new number after stuff like that happened three times.

I hate that. When I got my MasterCard, it was non stop calls from India. I tell them NO 100 times, and I still get charged to my CC some stupid insurance protection that I have to cancel. I'm getting rid of this card as soon as it's paid off.
