I'd say 5-10.

Then again, in two weeks I leave to spend two months on a Greek island. How many people could say they're doing that?

If you wrote everything down on paper, probably virtually nobody (0) since I'm in an incredible position.

How happy I am in that position, is another story.. so I'd say 80 people.

I sure as hell could be doing worse.

I've got a decent apartment for a good price in a super convenient, non-ghetto neighborhood, a credit card balance that will be $0.00 in 4 days, and no other debts. I've got my own car and a steady job that nets me $15-25 bucks an hour. I'm really getting my sh!t together, and keeping it together. I'm going to school again, and doing OK at that. I'm finally a going for a real college degree, rather than some BS technical certificate.

I've also got this girlfriend who's pushing me away for reasons that she does not make clear to me, but hey, if she's pushing me away, I'm going to cut my losses and just go away, not get mad (Hmm, is she reaching, or pushing? It sucks, but it could be worse. I could be a jealous, angry person with a chip on my shoulder).

I know I'm doing OK for myself. Others might think my apartment is too small, or my car is too old, but that doesn't matter to me, because that stuff doesn't bring me satisfaction. I know that, because I've tried. All I ended up doing was working to pay for a nicer apartment and car, and I wasn't happy at all.
Good for you 😀

Thanks! 😀

How's the house coming along?

Change the question to 100 people from this board who are chosen at random. It seems like pretty much everyone here lives a very happy, satisfying life.

I am not sure. I am doing OK...I have a lot more job security than most folks...but I make "average money" at my primary job...it's the second job that keeps me comfy...but 90+ hour weeks suck ass. :disgust:

I am hoping to meet a woman that's compatible with me. Yes, with me, not the other way around; I've tried that and I'm no good at pretending to be somebody I'm not.

I don't want more kids (not that it's a big secret...

) so no prob there.

I'm getting a handle on my debt. Closed about 70% of my CCs, paying them off w/one big loan. Still saving money...getting there too.

I just want a non-psychotic partner...but being that I like only women, I guess that's asking for pie in the sky.
