IE8 weird behavior

I was surprise at how fast some of the web pages rendered on the screen and i thought AT&T has somehow upgraded my connection, but no, it turns out IE8 displays some of the pages from cache. It's not working offline either.

Also, when I launch it, sometimes it asks if I want to reopen the last browsing session like it wasn't closed properly previously. Anyone experience the same problems?


 
I clean browsing history almost religiously and IE8 (or Win 7) doesn't like that very much. I suspect this is why it's been acting up lately. It's fine now but on occasion I can "feel" a few bugs here and there.
