IE6 temporary files

How come I can't clear these files? If I use clear files and cookies from tools/options, there are still about a dozen folders remaining, containing about 15Mb of crap!
If I do it manually, I get a warning about deleting 'system' files. , which I'm reluctant to ignore.
What's going on?

If you want, you can reboot at the command prompt and safely selete the files/directories that way. You just got to be careful.

Edit: I've done that and used Window Washer.

You've lost me some there. 'Reboot at the command prompt and delete it that way?

I was referring to just deleteting stuff from Windows explorere, somewhere on the c drive
