I'm trying to find the full version so I can install it on client machines without downloading it every time, and I guess I'm stupid because I can't find the full install on MS site... can anyone help me?

I think you have to order the cd from M$... thats what we had to do... couldn't find the full install file for IE5.5 anywhere.... just that stupid internet installer file...

not downloaded it yet but for IE5.5 for win9x, I clicked advanced & specified for download only & specified a folder.
you have to download the whole thing if you do it this way!

What i was going to say ^^

Someone mentioned this before but I forgot who. Anyway, download the (Setup) to your C: and type this in the Run field : C:\ie6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E". It'll give you the option to download IE6 for all versions instead of just the version for the system's OS that you're downloading from. Then go (In W2K) C:/Winnt/Windows Update Setup Files and copy it to a CD.

YOU ARE THE MAN! THANKS!

Thanks. I was looking for that too. Why don't they just make that an option in the installer instead of having to put in all that extra command line crap!?

I think there is an option for IE6 network install, you may have to download the little 500kb installation file first, then they give you an option for express install or network install.

Negative. It jumps past it without the switches.
