ok, well this is a duron 750, gigabyte mobo, 128mb pc100, radeon se 64 vivo, sb16 ISA and 2 generic nics...
ive been runnign this setup for ages under winME with a viper2 instead of radeon cuz viper dont work at all for games in winXP.
since ive installed winXP, officeXP and IE6, most times when viewing webapges with scripts (flash, java, online banking stuff etc the app will just freeze and stop responding. this happened ONCE when running winamp and using the black and white bear dance plugin (but i havent managed to recreate this error) and every now and then Counter-Strike just freezes and theres nothing i can do but reboot. im running counter-strike in compatibility mode for winME cuz if i run in xp mode i get random crashes but i guess im digressing now and the main issue is the web browsing!
ok, well i havent installed officeXP sp1 but IE6 isnt even listed as part of officeXP so that should hardly be relevant.
any ideas? i have a 256k adsl connection if thats relevant... plz help!!!
