IE6 and search buttons

For about a week now, every time I try to search for anything here on anandtech, yahoo, msn, ANYWHERE, once I click search, I get this error report thing (don't send/send thing I'm running XP) and it closes all IE windows. I'm severly angered by this, I'm about to reformat, but I really don't wanna do that. Can anyone help me

Before you go and reformat, why not try uninstalling and reinstalling Internet Explorer?

Unfortunately you can't completely uninstall/reinstall MSIE in XP, since the browser is embedded in OS. All you can do is remove/add icon for IE on the desktop.

Have you tried to completely clear your cookies, temporary internet files and history folders? That actually might do the trick
