IE5 Question?

For some reason unknown to me my IE5 is not refreshing the page when it loads.
It did refresh previously when I had good old Win 98 - but for some reason with 98SE it seems to like to revisit the version of the page it visited previously.
For example if I press Ctrl + Refresh and it will load the current version - but otherwise it just seems to look at the history of the page?
How do I get it to check for the latest revision of the webpage?

For one, try clearing out your temp files (tools>options). Then you can also clear history and bring that down to 1 or 0 days.

Go to "Tools', "Internet Options", "Advanced" tab. Under the Security section check the box "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is Closed". Hopefully that should do it.

Control Panel/Internet Options/First Tab (labled "General&quot😉...click the "Settings" button next to "Temporary Internet Files". The first option is labled "Check for newer versions of stored pages". You have several choices. I'd choose "Automatically" or "Every Visit to the Page" if you need very frequent updates.
