IE window loads up small, why?

When i load it up normally it is fullscreen, but when i load it up checking my Instant Messenger mail, it is a small box that i have to maximize. how do i keep it full screen all the time? keep in mind i am closing the box through File -> Exit

That used to happen to me, just keep maximizing the window. Somehow, it will keep that as your preferences.

Right click on ie explorer.

Properties - Run - Maximized.

on the .exe? i cant find the run part...

You have to click on the shortcut to do that. I think he meant the shortcut that's on the QuickLaunch bar (on the task bar).

Right click on IE shortcut on the Quick Launch Toolbar and go to Properties.
Look down towards the bottom for the Run: box.
Set it to Maximized.
Click OK.

EDIT: hmm but wait, even when i check mail from the instant messenger it still loads up as a window, not maximized.
