IE using too much RAM

Today when I turned on the computer, first thing that I did was open Internet Explorer. Strangely, today it was running very slowly, even locking up. When I opened the Task Manager, it was reporting 10 to 12 MB for each running process. This never happened before ... it would normally saty withing the 5 to 7 MB range.

Any ideas ?
