IE rant

as usual IE has been b!tching at my css while mozilla and opera have no issues with it. so i sit and try to get IE to like my CSS.

after almost three hours of wrapping everything up, my right menu suddenly moves to the bottom of the page. and i waste 45 minutes trying to figure this sh!t out. end of 45 minutes, i download a screen ruler (link and screenshot) to actually measure IE's rendering.

bottom line, according to IE, 25 pixels ACTUALLY MEANS 50 pixels. WTF gave it that idea?

I could have been sleeping now, but noooooooooooooo

You talking web design? Make a page for IE users saying their browser sucks and that they should get a real one. Provide links. A pic of someone pointing and laughing at them would be a nice touch 😀

I say you should learn how to do it properly. Yes there are exceptions with ie doing css wrong like hover, but I've never had pixel measuring magically doubling on me in IE.
