Hey, this is annoying as heck to me.....when I have IE open, what determines if I click on a link or if I am in a seperate window of IE as far as whether or not it will open the link/addy in a new window or just overwrite the current one?

An example is that I have one window of IE open on the MLB.com scoreboard, and I am browsing in another window, but sometimes when I change pages or click on a link in this second window, the link will open in the other window!! Why?!?! How do I prevent this from hapenning!

shift assures that the link will open in a new window, not an existing one?

any link you click while holding shift will open in a new seperate window

edit- make that any html link, macromedia flash links are hard coded as to which window they go to
