ok, somehow i got this stupid popup thing (some casino thing) with my IE 6. now, i lost the address bar for some reason, can i remove IE 6 and download it again to solve the problem?
Right click on the tool bars and make sure that the address bar is checked. The casino stuff is probably listed somewhere in your Add/Remove programs panel. Try to uninstall it. If it isn't, try Ad-Aware..
If it is checked then it's there, probably just hidden. Drag it around until you see it. Make sure there isn't a check in 'lock toolbars' before you try to do that. Also, run the latest version of Ad-Aware to get rid of the spywear
try Internet Options/General tab/Settings/View Objects and look for it there. You may have to right click/properties to get more info. If you find it, rightclick/remove it.
