IE? problem

When I open a new window, IE locks up until the new window is opened (2-3 seconds). I can't open a search window on the side (say a yahoo search result) and then open all the links by clicking them in series. I must wait for the first link to open before IE unjams, and then I can click a second link. Wasn't like this a few days ago. But then my girlfriend and a friend of hers played with my computer and did unknowned things with it 😉 Any idea on how to fix this???
 
Heres a nice solution

Go to add remove programs, and choose IE, then choose Remove

A menu should pop up and there will be an option to repair it

it should work after this... hope this helps
 
You might not have an option to repair it.. depends on your version of Windows.

What version of Windows and what version of IE do you have?

You might try resetting IE defaults.
