IE problem

Ok,

1) what antivirus software do you have, and please be specific about the version, as well as the brand (eg Norton Antivirus 2004 or AVG 6.0 or whatever).

2) what version of Windows is it?

3) please download & run HijackThis and post the text from the logfile: download HJT by clicking here
 
Oh sorry. It's my ten year olds computer. Windows XP Home SP2. Norton Antivirus 2005 ver 11.0.16.2 Working on the HiJack this. No viruses on the last scan, but I see he stopped the definitions are not up to date.
 
Kids + Computer = problems like this. I agree with mechBgon... good advise ther limited accounts for the kiddies and sometimes the wife too... Usually yourself also unless you need admin rights to do what you need to do.
