IE problem, can't open more than one IE

I can't seem to open a 2nd new IE, as soon as I try to open a new link in a new window, it will close the first one. whats wrong? do I have a virus?
 
Can you open a link in a new window by holding down the Shift key when clicking on the link?

In IE, check your setting for: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Tab - (under Browsing) "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".
