IE invalid page fault........fix?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled IE 5 and keep getting the same error
"you have an invalid page fault in (something) shell. Please tell me that I dont have to do an fdisk and total reinstall of the operating system.
 
have you tried downloading a newer version of IE like beta 6 or 5.5 (assuming if you have 5)

I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth trying before hosing your system down...
 
You might try writing down the error and going to google.com and type in the error. I did this once and found the fix in 5 minutes. It was a dll conflict with Clean Sweep and there was a .dll fix posted on their website. Good luck
