IE default text size - how to change it???

Hey guys,

IE used to have by default the "Smaller" text size, and that was fine with me. It changed though all of a sudden to "Smallest" a few days ago and it's really annoying to change it back for every damn IE window I open....

Anyone knows how to change this??
Thanks!!

EDIT: I think I found the problem...I think that it's Eudora that's changing the size of IE's font when Eudora's font is changed....

close all windows > open one explorer window. Go to View > Text Size > Choose option. Close window. After that, all your windows should open with the specified text size.

hope this helps.

Hi Wolf,

thanks for the tip! Unfortunatly I've tried that countless times with no success... 🙁

I've just looked into the registry in IE keys but didn't find anything relevant...I'm sure it must be somewhere in there though!!

To change the font size on the fly, hold down control and spin the mouse wheel [if you have one]. Pull the wheel towards you to make it bigger.

Thanks Rich, it sure is faster that way (plus it helps in windows without the toolbar)!!!

It's still pretty annoying to change it in every IE window... 🙁

your problem (and possible culprit -- eudora) is just what mskb has to say:
text 1 (outlook express though, instead of eudora)
text 1 (this one is somewhat stupid, but ...)
