IE crashing

i have a problem wiht my IE crashing. i open it then about 2 seconds later it jsut closes itself. it doenst give me any error messages or anything. this happened after i put in 2 new sticks of ram but i switched back to my old ram and IE was still messed up so i dont think it is the ram. i also just installed firefox yesterday not sure if that had anythign to do wiht it htough. thanks for any help
