I posted this over in one of the other forums and didn't get any help so I'll try it here. Here goes: any time that a webpage pops open a daughter window and I close that window prior to its complete loading or I still have the first window open on the same page that spawned the daughter window, Internet Explorer locks up on me.
I am using IE 5.01 with SP2 installed. I did install IDcide's Privacy Companion a while ago but I don't think the problems started when I installed that. They seemed to have started a few weeks later. I did uninstall it and it changed nothing. I set everything back to default in the options.
Anybody have any suggestions? I really didn't like IE5.5 when I tried it on my previous install.
