Running the latest version of AOL on a cable modem. Everytime I open up IE, AOL boots up by default. How would I disable this feature?

Try the following:

[*]right clicking the AOL Tray icon > auto start options > don't use any auto start options
[*]open your internet options in the control panel > connections tab > never dial a connection unless everything is already greyed out, then click the programs tab > reset web settings
