IE 8 Window Size

When I launch IE 8 from desktop shortcuts or quick launch shortcuts, the window always launches less than full screen.

I would like them to always launch as full screen.

Is there a way to configure for this outcome?

You mean FULL screen, or just maximized screen?

good question! When I click 'maximize' from the globe memu on IE title bar, I get a 'full' screen on my display.

Soo, I tried both of the suggested methods in the link provided, closed out IE, relaunch the shortcut, and still get a much smaller IE than full screen. I even created a new desktop shortcut from the maximized full screen and the shortcut still launches IE as a much smaller size than full screen.

My IE home page does launch as a 'full' screen-my problem seems to be with shortcuts???
