IE 7 beta

I loved it when I tried it, but it was buggy. I forgot which bug it was, but it occured so often I uninstalled. Shame.

I'd rather use Firefox or Opera. Once they publish the final version when Vista is released, then we will see.

Does it support mouse gestures yet? I used Beta 2 but, for all that I loved about it, I couldn't stick with it because I use mouse gestures too much.

well, i downloaded it and i've been using it a little bit. seems just as fast as IE6 or faster. both ie6 and ie7 are faster than ff though.

gonna take a bit getting used to with some of the menus gone and stuff. one thing that seems to have changed is that my text looks clearer now.

no bugs found so far.

IE7B3 seems pretty much flawless to me.

um, no. it's quite slow.

A slow browser would not be flawless. Archcommus says it's flawless. Must not be slow for him.

It's not slow for me either. 🙂

I have had no problems with it, other than some sites will not; they are coded for IE6.

An irritation with it can be that when working with tabs; if a window is being rendered, the tab may not switch over until the rendering is complete.

The exact timing of such happenings has not been pinpointed yet; but is occurs quite frequently. Many times bouncing between two of thread threads here on AT.

i went to ebay, pricegrabber, and adorama and my kerio firewall kep saying that something was trying to do something to IE. it was just an alert type thing, it didn't give me any options to do anything about it.

I thought it was great - MS got it right with IE7. I just was wondering... how is the security of IE7B3 compared to Opera?

Opera's well established. IE7's obviously still in beta. It's going to be quite a while before anyone can intelligently compare the two. Sure, there's going to be fanboys on either side mercilessly defending their love from the get-go, but we all know how dependable they are.

Yes that has been annoying for me, as well. However it's infrequent, though, like only when one tab contains a .pdf or something like that.
