Just recently, whenever I use IE 6.0 to check out some sites... the graphics, whether they be ad banners or buttons, load very slowly.. at least compared to how they loaded before.
It started to happen after I cleard my cache but I don't think that's the problem because I've cleared the cache before with no problems. Either if I keep returning to a page that I've been to several times before, thus having the images in my cache, the images still load up slowly.
I used to be able to load up a web page without seeing the image placeholders... now I see them for at least 2-3 seconds before the image actually loads.
I'm on an aDSL connection and using WinXP. I also have a Linksys BEFSR41 router with 1.46 firmware.
any ideas?
