ie 5 and 5.5 strange behavior

Recently (I think since upgrading my processor) on my celly2 566 @ 707 (i know...but it wont do 850 and im on a bh6)...IE has been behaving really strangely. It will seem to lock up or stop responding FREQUENTLY (ie., every time i click on a link or open a new window)....any ideas?

did u try to repair the IE first? Go to control panel and add/remove then try to repair it first. It might help.
