hey... im trying to download like 5 files at a time but it only limits me to 2 at a time. does anyone know how I can change that? thanks for your help.

Go to Kmart and get one of their free Bluelight.com CD with IE 5.5 on it? They usually have them in the checkout lines.

i think he means the amount of files he can d/l at one time. i don't know of any such limitation imposed by IE on the amount of files you can d/l.

It is probably the server. Many servers allow only 2, 3, or 4 files from one IP at a time.

There is a limit of IE specified by the HTTP protocol. I'm fairley sure it's about 4 though. If your that worried about it.. just get a download manager.

I think you can change that in internet options under tools
