why in the world would they release sp2 when IE6 comes out on the 15th. perhaps it's for those who won't want to upgrade.

IE6 could be buggy...so companies are less likely to upgrade than they are to apply a service pack to an established release.

the beta for ie6 is incredibly buggy.
