What are idle temps for it? I get around 65-70.
What about load? I get 78. I feel like its running waaay too hooot at idle and load. I could be wrong.

70C is actually pretty normal for these chips. Make sure you're running Catalyst 8.8 or 8.9 for the latest fan speed fixes. Otherwise, no need to worry.

One thing that is so great about this card is its stock cooler. The problem is that ATI wanted the cooler to be silent and by that they've kept the fan at very low rpm, so this translated into high temperatures during both idle and full load. Temperatures that are otherwise well tolerated ( in the vast majority of cases ) by the card.

Now, the problem is that the card is pretty much impossible to overclock and maybe it might have a shorter lifespan when it idles at 80 C and loads at 90 C. So if you want it cooler, you can use this guide here with riva tuner http://www.hardforum.com/showp...033029086&postcount=10 .
I have only 56 C on full load now with the fan speed tweaked. ;)
