def been there. its the worst specially during finals week. in our library they have three seperate reading areas...these group of kids move from area to area and are ALWAYS talking on their cell phones...pretty damn loud too....pisses everyone off so much....

There was some jackass at the library that worked for an environmental controls (HVAC) company that monitored said equipment for companies that didn't trust their employees to set their own temperatures with thermostats. He was using a library computer to remotely log in and check this stuff, and talking about it at about three times normal volume on his cell so they could understand what he was saying.

Be careful, a girl was talking on her cell phone one day in the library and some guy said something to her about it and she went psycho and threatened to kill him. Had to call the cops and have her taken away. She threatened to kill them, too.

I was just in a Library were someone was listening to emo on his head phones at full volume. He turned them down when I asked him but w-t-f mate.
