Oh, and last I checked birds don't carry passports, and the bald eagle ranges from Mexico up to Canada, so unless you meant "American" in the sense of the continent (in which case the "American Eagle" could mean either the Golden or the Bald)...you screwed up. Stop making a fool of yourself by trying to defend your error.
Right, I did mean American Bald Eagle...I don't think I have been trying to state otherwise. I meant to type American Bald Eagle in my topic...however; only a fucking idiot would have been confused.
But, let's hash this out though, since I'd hate to have your little brain hurt over trying to figure out what I meant.
American Eagle is also an apt description of the Bald Eagle as NORTH America is the ONLY place you will find one of these naturally. The Golden is AFAIK the only other eagle species in NORTH America. American Bald Eagle likewise could be viewed as redundant or vague. You hear American Bald Eagle a lot, but not North American Bald Eagle that often...but either way Bald Eagle would suffice.
However...it's a moot point either way as both the Golden and Bald are similarly protected here under the same law/act while both were previously listed as endangered and recently moved to protected class so hunting either would still be forbidden. Likewise assumed to be OK by the same idiots that thought since they were no longer endangered, it's open hunting season.
Hope I have helped you get through your day less upset and angry.
