Idiot with video

one time there was this HUGE wasp's nest in the pole of a stop sign
so we put on sweaters and got spray cans and lighters and BLASTED THAT MOTHERFVCKER TO PEICES
woo good times

What's so idiotic about that? You never did that as a kid with WD-40 or hair spray?
I've known plenty of people who've done it, and none who've ever had anything bad happen as a result.

um, I think most of us have done that at some point. It's actually not to unsafe so long as it's not pointed at anything.

ditto

you know what's fun?
spraying your hand FULL of Axe and then lighting it and having a competition who can hold their hand still longest 😀

I used to do that all the time. It's the best method for killing flying insects, IMO. Awesome way to fry those mofo spiders too. Burn mofos, burn.

of course i've done it before. i'm just woundering if it's possible for the flame to go backwards and ignite or the aerosol can.

you mean like when you're pouring gasoline and then you light the puddle and it goes up the stream of pouring gas and into the bottle? 😀
been there done that

Seeing how those cans are typically pressurized, and since fire require oxygen to burn, there is no chance of your scenario taking place.

However, if kept on for a long period of time, I suppose the can could get so hot from the flame that it would burst. But aside from that, it's not really a big deal.

I don't think you have to worry about the flame going back into the can... there isn't any oxygen in the can itself. Now a fast buring fuel like gas and a plastic jug, that could be a different story I think.
