lol, all the money for that car and never was taught how to drive it. I assume he turned traction control off. He didn't seem to try and counter steer at all; the back kicked out just a very small amount and that was the new direction it was pointing and so the new direction it went. I think he totally did not expect it at all to fish tail.
That car doesn't have an obscene amount of power either. A lot, yes, but not too awfully much. Stupid driver.
500hp in a car that weighs 3300 lbs is quite a lot. Certainly enough to get you in trouble easily if you turn the electronic nannies off. I've never even been in a car with 500hp. Most I've driven is around 390hp.
Now my wife's car on the other hand, you could turn the TC off and never miss it... of course, you can't turn it completely off in her car though.![]()
You can easily get sideways, even in a heavier car. I won't even show my chick how to turn off the traction control in her new car.
Lol reminds me of the time I gave my car a little too much power on a wet road with a curve. Good thing my mad skills let me control the spin so I landed safely on the side of the road without hitting anything.
Sure did teach me a lesson about wide tires, rain, and RWD.
You see this? This is the 'car instantly goes in a ditch' button. Don't touch it.
You can go crazy with a lot less power with no TC...the S2000 does that when it's wet...and the gen one has no TC! It really teaches you respect, as well as a few track days in the rain! woohoo!
Koing
How hard is it to:
1. Let off
2. Turn your tires the direction you want the front to go
really?
I mean, it's automatic for me. Is it really not for some people? (yes, I play with oversteer now and then when it isn't a danger)
