This kid comes in with a money order for $1k and picks out a bunch of car audio stuff. I refuse the money order and tell him to come back with cash. He does so the next day.

Over the next couple of weeks the kid gets to be a big pain in the neck. He comes in a few times each week and swaps stuff out. On Tuesday I finally told him to beat it.

I got a call yesterday from the guys at work. Apparently this guy received 3 of those money orders and was supposed to wire all but $200 to someone overseas. The kid just kept all the money. I am not sure if his bank has found out yet, but the kid is now in jail and wanted to return everything for bail money. I vetoed that idea.

Dumbass.

lmao...that is hilarious. I had a kid like that, came in every night for like two weeks bugging me about amps and stuff, asking all sorts of questions, then balking at the cost of stuff and deciding to go buy cheaper (lower end) parts from a "buddy" of his. After two weeks I told him to either buy something or don't come back, I don't have time to deal with him anymore. He got all upset, as if he were actually a paying customer.

Too bad he didn't end up in jail like yours though lol
