Identifying The Winchester Core

How do I know if the Athlon 64 I am buying has a Winchester core? Are all the 90nm cores Winchesters? NOTE: I'm only looking at socket 939 chips.

All 90nm socket 939 chips are winchester. There are 90nm s754 chips that are semprons, so they are a different core.

For now, yes. All socket 939 90nm are Winchesters. Things will change in the next few days (hopefully) when the new Venice/San Diego? cores come out.
