Identifying RAM

Hello Everyone,

I have a lot of old SIMMs hanging around, and I don't remember if they are EDO or FP let alone the size of each of them. Is there a site that has a listing of the chip part numbers so I can identify them.

Thanks
Ben

You will need to at least determine the manufacturers of the actual RAM chips themselves - and then you can go to their web site and should be ale to look them up.

Actually, the easiest thing to do is insert them into a test PC and see how they POST up. I had the same problem. You can also take 'em to some place that has a memory tester, most places will test them for free.

Good Luck! 😀
