I have an USB wireless mouse adapter. Is there any way to determine what mouse it is compatible with?

When you plug it in does a device show up in Device manager? If so you can find Vendor ID there..

 Right click on the device in the Device Manager and go to Properties -> Details -> Hardware Ids. The Vendor ID (VID) and Product ID (PID) will be listed there. Post those and we can try to dig up some info on it.

That tells us nothing.. Put it in a PC and find it in Device Manager to ID the hardware.

Does not help. It shows up as a HID-compliant mouse with all the same info as other mice. They all show Manufacturer as Microsoft, even if it is a Logitech mouse and adapter.

Follow the instructions below, which will show you the raw ids from the hardware. What you're seeing as "Microsoft" is the provider of the generic driver. The hardware ids will tell us more about the specific USB device.
