It's a damn chipmunk. Note to ATOTers: GO OUTSIDE MORE OFTEN. Thank you.

no it's not chipmunk! ;)

If I wasn't outside how would I have taken this picture?

It is a chipmunk, and I didn't say you never went outside, I said you didn't go outside enough. If you went outside more frequently, you would have learned what a chipmunk was when you were 6 like all the normal kids, instead you spent another decade or two inside playing Nintendo before you ventured out into the great unknown that is "the neighborhood park" and discovered the wonders of the chipmunk. I bet you wouldn't have had to ask what it was if you had happened upon a turtle. YOu might have called it a "koopa" but at least you would have recognized it.

Don't have to be so mean about it and it's not a chipmunk (I've seen chipmunks before), look at original post

Eh, it looks like a chipmunk when it's 25 pixels wide on a computer screen, and I don't live in Texas or wherever a 13-line ground squirrel lives, so I've never seen one.

That is a striped ground squirrel, not a chipmunk. No question.

Chipmunks, all varieties, have distinct black/white stripes along their backs.

Striped ground squirrels are striped more or less in shades of brown and grey with no distinct black stripe.

Whether it is this 'thirteen lined ground squirrel', I can't say.
