Identify This Cable

I found a cable in front of my home that appears to have fallen off a utility truck passing by my home sometime during the day. It appears to be about a 50 foot length, and is hard cased like plastic conduit. It has the markings LMR-400-DB Coaxial Cable Times Microwave Systems 68999 Made in USA. It has a nice large screw fitting on each end about 1/2 inch diameter. Is this from a satellite TV system? Microwave communications?

Thanks

John

sounds like a coaxial cable to me. It could be for hooking up your receiver box to your satellite dish or cable line.

It sounds like a coaxial cable used for a signal feed to a microwave transmitter. Probably worth a good chunk of change. Even the stuff we use for our ham radio repeater is pretty expensive.

Thanks.. 🙂 Im trying to see if I can narrow it down to find the owner. Its a fairly small community here and maybe I can return it to them.. 🙂

Thanks Lord Evermore, I will do just that.. 🙂 I found a webpage from the manufacturer. Itw worth maybe 60.00 so someone may need to have it back. 🙂

Thanks for the help. 🙂

You guys are good.. 🙂 I was just curious mainly about the large fittings.. as to what it would connect to.
