Ideas on how to protect children...

I've got a few ideas I would like to run by you guys for protecting our children and adults with minds so fragile as to do whatever they hear or see.
1. Laws against making music that promotes violence, racial intolerance, sex, sexual feelings(other than love of course).
2. Laws against making video media ie. videos, movies, tv shows, that promotes violence, racial intolerance, sex, sexual feelings. This will include cartoons the only ones to get by our net will be Barney and Telletubies.
This should also include live performances.
Or maybe we should talk to our children find out what they actually believe and do our best to instill good values into their heads and hearts.
This is just a rant, excuse me, but I find it very disconcerting to hear about all the Eminem stuff. I just think if you dont like what he says dont listen. If you dont want your child to listen there's really not too much you can do except like I said talk to them.

Yea, lets protect our kids from the reality of life.
Cover them up in suburban plush goodness.
heh

I'm working on it.

However, I may not be a full fledged counselor yet, but I will tell you right now that Mr Mathers is a very dysfunctional individual. I can't take pleasure in something that was born of so much hate and pain.

geno: good idea... if people actually took care of their children like they were supposed to, we wouldnt have the problems we have today.

Or there's this thing, I think parents used to teach it. I think it's called RESPECT. I think that's the right word. There's also these things called morals. They're important too.
