This is my first time creating a new thread

Theres already threads originally intended for discussing what to buy with the Best Buy $30 gift card (given for the GF4 price mistake), but all of them turned into BB flame wars regarding the politics of the GF4 Deal and little to no talk about using the $30

So heres a few ideas I found while digging around for something to spend my $30 on

I picked up the ms mouse on one gift coupon. Its cheaper elsewhere but I like free now and later get back $10 - tax and $.34 for a stamp.
The other coupon I picked up the DVD drive just because I wanted one and in the end its very cheap 😛

And don't forget the option of a $30 Best Buy Gift Card with no sales tax, no shipping and no expiration date. I know it says you can't buy a gift card, but I did (got mine in the mail today! 😀 ) and so have others who received the $30 digital coupon...

I got a giftcard. Went to BB B&M with Targets flyer in hand. Had them match Target's price on the PS2 game "State of Emergency" to $39.99 then I used a $5 off coupon from the preferred customer flyer (or you can find these coupons in EGM, GamePro and other game mags). Walked out paying $7 out of my pocket.

Yeah, I haven't gotten my giftcard yet, but that is my plan right now. I bought the game this weekend, so I'm going to buy it again when I get the giftcard with the coupon from EGM, and then walk back in and return it with my first receipt. Should be around 7 or 8 bucks.
 
If I had the coupon, I would order the Logitech Dual Optical mouse for $20 after the $30 coupon, or the Logitech Navigator keyboard for $0 after the coupon. Of course, add tax for your state.

just because people have the $30 gift doesn't mean u can waste it on things like this..
 
I went for some Epson ink for the 780. Couldn't find anything else I wanted at the moment and while their prices are not all that great for Epson ink I'm not complaining 🙂.
 
Just bought the Antec 350W PP352X power supply. $59.99-$30= $29.99, no shipping charge since I picked it up at the local store.

Its still $30 for 100 cdr's, just after rebate.

The end price is not hot, but it is free considering the $30 was just given to everyone and we do need to buy something before it expires. so Free AR is certainly better than just sitting on the coupon and not getting anything.

The last I heard purchasing a gift card wouldnt work, and that only a few people got it to work just hours after the coupons went out on the emails.
 
i tried to buy a $30 GC - wouldn't work, so i just bought a $50 GC, took the $30 code no problem - shipped for $20

at some point in the next month or two i'm sure BB will have something I want - what I may do if the GC gets here by saturday is see if they'll price match the compusa $99 maxtor 80GB - $69 + tax for 80GB drive...that would be hot
