A friend of mine's mother passed away recently, and before he cancels her cellphone account he wanted to save a copy of her greeting message but isn't sure how to do it.
One idea that came to mind for me was to call her number from Skype and use some sort of recording program to record the call, then trim that audio file to have just the greeting. He's not the most tech savvy person so I'm not sure if he'd be able to figure all that out though.
I know Google Voice can record calls, but only from INCOMING calls, so that rules out me calling the number from GV and recording it (unless there's some workaround for this).
Any other ideas anyone might have for a simple way to do this?
